This quote reminds me of the Anekantvad session at the YJ retreat, which touched upon truth being relative to the perspective. So, similarly, what one deems as right/ acceptable/ pleasing, etc is not equally so for all others. Therefore, why not strive for success from the angle you believe in, and as long as no harm is being caused to others, hopefully the rest should look after itself.
