I like this one, and also the Robert Louis Stevenson one on the 8th which talks about sowing seeds. We take it so much for granted, but it is still amazing to think that our actions can influence our future destiny and we often forget, though it is quite empowering to remember, that even quite apparently small actions can have a significant effect… particularly the dynamic between actions and thoughts and dreams, and the future actions this may in turn generate…. eg now I think directly helping people is brilliant, but if you can inspire compassion in others, through your own actions, that’s remarkable (potentially many more minds working on a problem)
